How to connect SSL VPN in Mackbook

SSL VPN  connection we can use through “Pulse secure” client application for MAC OS.

Step: 1

First, we need download the Pulse secure .dmg package from below link

Click here to download Pulse Secure Application package

Step: 2

Double click the “ps-pulse-mac-installer.dmg” then you will get the mounted  “Pulse Secure.5.3.3.1021” window with PulseSecure.pkg file

Step: 2

Double click the “PulseSecure.pkg” file and will get theinstaller pop screen  then Click “Continue”

Step : 3

Click “Install” button then will ask username and password of MacBook

Once click the “install software” button, start installing the Pulse secure application

Step: 4

Once completed the installation u will get the below message and then close window.

Step: 5

Now open the secure application from launchpad fro configuring the SSL VPN connection

Step: 6

Once launch the application then you will find the “+” the click  then will get SSL VPN configuration pop window

Type: Select Policy secure (UAS) or Connect SSL VPN

Name: office (you use any Name)

Server URL: https://vpn.com ( this is your SSL VPN URL or IP Address of SSL VPN)

then click the “Add” button

Step: 7

once click the add button you will get the screen below then click “connect” button

Step: 8

If you have configured url with SSL certification then you get below message you click “ok“. otherwise, you can skip the step.

Step 9 :

If  SSL VPN configured with Active Directory or LDAP then you will get below message then select domain which domain you belongs to secureethics.com or secure ethics.in(this is example domains)

Click to “connect” button

Step: 11

Once click the “Connect”  button then it will ask “username and password” of SSL VPN, Once fille the username and password then Click the “Connect” button.

Once click the “Connect” button, you get connected status with Green tick mark as like below,

 

Now you can use Office or SSL VPN network
